How does the Reme Halo work?
The Reme Halo is installed directly into your HVAC duct system. That way, it treats the air quality for your entire home, not just one room. The Reme Halo does two primary jobs: it synthesizes a low-level aerial hydrogen peroxide and also ionizes particles in the air. The hydrogen peroxide is made from hydrogen atoms (which is taken from moisture - H2O - in the air) and oxygen atoms. This aerial hydrogen peroxide cleans and disinfects your air just like putting hydrogen peroxide on a cut or wound on your skin. The concentration level of the hydrogen peroxide emitted into the air is enough to destroy bacteria, viruses, biological matter, and even denature chemical compounds, but it is also far below the recommended threshold for human consumption (approximately 2% of the federally recommended maximum level). The other important job of the Reme Halo is to ionize the air. What this does is add a small static charge to all of the particles in your air, and that makes them stick together. When the particles in your air stick together, they become bigger, and that makes them easier to catch and filter out. This process takes particles that are micrometers in size, too small to be caught by your filters, and makes them big enough to be trapped and removed.
How long does it take to see results?
Our results are fast. Within the first two hours you'll notice major improvement. The improvement is so dramatic that you can smell it. It's like standing on a mountain and smelling clean air for the first time.

Limited exposure to poor indoor air quality is usually not a cause for concern, but prolonged, daily exposure to poor air quality can have massive effects on your long term health. In addition to respiratory symptoms, the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health now suggests poor indoor air quality can lead to neurological and psychiatric disorders. The biological matter and chemicals in your air that are being breathed in are entering your bloodstream, which flows to your brain and throughout your body.
